Howie Hawkins and Dario Hunter Win GPCA's Ballot Recommendation to Secretary of State

Online voting wrapped up late last night as Green Party of California's county delegates from across the state turned in their votes for presidential ballot recommendations.
Delegates were given the choice between six Green Presidential candidates who had turned in their applications to GPCA by the deadline.
Delegates overwhelmingly chose to support the only two Green candidates who had met requirements for recognition set by the Green Party of the United States: Dario Hunter and Howie Hawkins
Four candidates failed to reach the three-fifths threshold to pass the vote: Dennis Lambert, Sedinam Kinamo Christin Moyowasifza-Curry, David Rolde and Chad Wilson.
Voting took place online, over a period of one week, which was preceded by a six-week discussion period. Of the ninety-six delegates who were registered to vote, seventy-eight ballots were cast.
